Sustainable Tea Production Practices

This Tea is selectively picked finest downy buds, grown at the highest altitude tea plantation in Nepal (7000 ft- 7500 feet.) processed into Black Tea. In the early spring, when the first lot of new buds appear, farmers rush to the field to pluck them quickly (usually within a week) before they unfurl into leaves.

These fine, potent buds appear after a period of dormancy the tea plant goes through in the winter. This causes them to be full of flavors and packed with antioxidants, when processed into Black tea. This Golden Tips Black Tea is the most complex Black tea that is devoid of astringency, with a soft and velvety texture.

Golden Tips Tea is committed to promoting sustainable tea production practices that prioritize the well-being of the environment and tea growers. The commitment to sustainability resonates with Nepalese tea growers and consumers who value eco-friendly practices. Sustainable tea production practices include reducing chemical use in tea gardens, conserving water, and promoting biodiversity.
